NIT Plants for the Future: 1,000 Trees Take Root at Corner Baridi Forest In celebration of World Environment Day (June 5th, 2024), the Nairobi Institute of Technology (NIT) joined forces with the Family Foundation and Nation Media Group for a tree-planting initiative. Staff, students, and volunteers planted 1,000 tree seedlings at the Corner Baridi Forest restoration site. This collaborative effort contributes to a greener Nairobi and a healthier planet.
