About N.I.T

The Nairobi Institute of Technology (NIT) is a mid-level technical training institution that has nurtured Kenya’s next generation of designers, and innovators for over two decades. The institute provides a diverse range of programs, from artisan, certificates to diplomas, designed to equip students with the hands-on, competency-based skills required by today’s industries. 

Accreditation and Excellence

From our inception, NIT has sought to provide education that meets the highest regulatory standards. We are registered and recognized by several key national bodies: 

  • Ministry of Education (Registration MOHEST/PC/1136/09)  
  • Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA)  
  • National Industrial Training Authority (NITA)  

Our programs are aligned with the Kenya National Qualifications Framework (KNQF) and examined by reputable bodies such as TVET CDACC, KNEC, and JKUAT.
