About N.I.T
The Nairobi Institute of Technology (NIT) established in July 1997, is a technical and vocational college that nurtures Kenya’s next generation of creatives in the fields of architecture, building construction, quantity surveying, interior design, fashion design, animation and digital media, graphic design and skilled artisans. The collegeprovides a diverse range of programs, from artisan, certificate to diploma, designed to equip students with the hands-on, competency-based skills required by today’s industries.
Accreditation and Excellence
From our inception, NIT has sought to provide education that meets the highest regulatory standards. We are registered and recognized by several key national bodies:
- Ministry of Education (Registration MOHEST/PC/1136/09)
- Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA)
- National Industrial Training Authority (NITA)
Our programs are aligned with the Kenya National Qualifications Framework (KNQF) and examined by reputable bodies such as TVET CDACC, KNEC, and JKUAT.
