Form Ni Mjengo

Partner with the Nairobi Institute of Technology (NIT) through the Form ni Mjengo scholarship program to empower youth through hands-on artisan courses in Kenya.

In collaboration with leading funding partners—including the KCB Foundation (2jiajiri) and the Family Group Foundationalongside DEFTEC—NIT delivers industry-aligned TVET training in plumbing, masonry, and tiling.

Trainees earn recognized NITA Grade 3 certification and official National Construction Authority (NCA) Artisan cards, enabling sustainable livelihoods and building a certified technical workforce. Support technical education partnerships by contacting partnerships@nit.ac.ke.

How to Apply?

  • Apply

Complete the online application form, upload KCSE or equivalent results, identification document and other relevant academic certificates.

  • Review

The admissions office will verify your documents and eligibility. If anything is missing or unclear, you will be contacted to provide clarification or additional information.

  • Feedback

Once your application is reviewed, you will receive an official admission decision. Successful applicants will get an admission letter outlining the program, reporting dates, and next steps.

  • Payment

Pay the required fees as per the fee statement through the approved NIT payment channels. Keep proof of NIT issued receipt as proof of payment

  • Class
