Requirements

What you will need:
- Passport photos: Clear, passport-sized photographs.
- Academic records: Original examination results slip or certificate.
- Identification: A copy of your National ID or Birth Certificate.
- Application fee: KSh 1,500 for Diploma in Architecture (JKUAT) or KSh 500 for all other courses.
Please note: If there is a delay in getting your original examination results slip, don’t worry! We can provide a Provisional Admission letter to get you started while you wait.

International Students application
We welcome students from all over the world to join our creative and technical programs! To ensure a smooth transition into the Kenyan education system, please follow these additional steps:
- Credential Recognition: Before applying, ensure your academic results are equated by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA). –https://knqa.go.ke/service/alignment-and-validation-of-qualifications-2/
- Document Submission: Once you receive your equated results, please email them directly to us at info@nit.ac.ke.
- Online Application: After emailing your documents, you may proceed to fill out our Online Application Form to officially enter our admissions system.

Our Intakes
At NIT, we operate on a three-semester system, giving you the flexibility to start your journey at a time that works best for you:
- January Intake: Start your year strong with our first semester, running from January to April.
- May Intake: Join us for the mid-year semester, running from May to August.
- September Intake: Begin your studies in our final semester of the year, running from September to December
