The Pattern Making short course develops practical skills in body measurement, block drafting, dart manipulation, garment adaptation, pattern cutting, and fit correction for custom and ready-to-wear clothing.

Entry requirements

A National ID, basic sewing knowledge, and an interest in fashion or garment construction.

Pathway:

Graduates can support tailoring and garment production businesses or progress to Fashion Design, CAD for Fashion, Tailoring, and Dressmaking courses.

How to Apply

Complete the online application form, upload KCSE or equivalent results, identification document and other relevant academic certificates.

The admissions office will verify your documents and eligibility. If anything is missing or unclear, you will be contacted to provide clarification or additional information.

Once your application is reviewed, you will receive an official admission decision. Successful applicants will get an admission letter outlining the program, reporting dates, and next steps.
