  • Where is N.I.T located?

    We are located at 10 Westlands road, Westlands, Nairobi. 

  • When are your intakes?

    We have three intakes every year in January, May & September. 

  • Do you have any other branches?

    We have two branches. N.I.T main campus and Annex both on Westlands road.

  • Do you offer part-time Diploma classes?

    All our Diploma courses are offered as full-time courses. 

  • Do I need work experience for a diploma or certificate course?

    Work experience is not always mandatory for diploma and certificate courses. However, some programs may benefit from relevant work experience. 

  • Do your Animation and Interior Design courses have university progression?

    Our Diploma graduate students receive credit transfers in local and international universities. Depending on a student`s portfolio and performance in admission interviews, one can always progress their Diploma.

  • Do you have hostels?

    No, we do not own any hostels. However, there are many affordable hostels around us.

  • Who examines your courses?

    We offer courses examined by JKUAT, CDACC, N.I.T.A & internally examined courses. 

  • Does NIT accept BTEC Level 3?

    Yes, students who have graduated with BTEC Level 3 are accepted into Certificate in Graphic Design, Certificate in Interior Design, Certificate in Animation and Digital Media and Certificate in Fashion Design. 

  • Are you a registered institution?

    We are registered and licensed in accordance with the TVET Act. We are partners with JKUAT and we offer KNEC, JKUAT, NITA and CDACC courses.

  • Can one apply online?

  • Can one pay fees in installments?

    Yes, you can pay fees in installments. SELECT A COURSE to view the fees structures. 

  • Do you accept MPESA payments?

    Yes, our Paybill number is 222123 

  • Do you have sports facilities for your students?

    Yes, we have indoor games and students’ membership at Parklands Sports Club.

  • Do you offer Plant Operation courses?

    No, we do not offer Plant Operation Courses. Please check our courses on the Our courses page. 

  • Can someone view your students’ projects at your campus?

    Yes, feel free to visit us. We also hold annual Open Days, Symposiums, and career guidance sessions at N.I.T. Please call 0772113360 to confirm the dates. 

  • Can I get financial aid for a diploma or certificate course?

    NIT offers a variety of scholarship and financial aid opportunities. We encourage you to visit the NIT website [www.nit.ac.ke] for more information and to explore potential funding options.
