Diploma in Civil Engineering (CDACC/TVET) – Level 6

The Diploma in Civil Engineering at NIT prepares learners to support the planning, construction, supervision, and maintenance of buildings, roads, bridges, drainage systems, and other infrastructure. The program combines technical theory, design principles, surveying, materials testing, quantity estimation, and practical site experience.
Entry requirements
- Minimum KCSE grade of C– (Minus) or equivalent, preferably with passes in Mathematics and Physics or Physical Science, or a
- A relevant Level 5 certificate in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Pathway:
Graduates can join construction companies, consulting practices, contractors, county governments, and infrastructure projects, or progress to a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, subject to institutional requirements.
