Chancen International CEO, Batya Blankers visits NIT

The Nairobi Institute of Technology today hosted a high- profile delegation led by Ms. Batya Blankers, CEO of Chancen International. While underscoring a deepening partnership, the visit aimed at expanding student funding opportunities and fostering skill development for the future workforce. This further solidifies NIT’s commitment to quality education and producing quality graduates.

 
Ms. Blankers was accompanied by Mr. Maurice Nduranu, Board Chair of Chancen International, Mr. John Waimiri, Executive Director of Family Group Foundation, and Mr. John Kinyanjui, Acting Chief Commercial Officer of Family Bank. The esteemed guests were warmly received and guided through the institute’s state-of-the-art departments. 
 
During the visit, the delegation witnessed innovative projects by NIT students who are beneficiaries of Chancen International’s funding model. Ms Blankers expressed profound impression with the quality of work and the student’s dedication attesting to the institute’s high academic standards and practical industry aligned training. 
 
After the guided tour of the institution, the delegate had a high-value meeting. Here, the discussion centred on enhancing the existing collaboration, exploring new avenues for partnership, including potential synergies with Family Bank to further build a skilled workforce for the future. This strategic alignment will see to it that there is a robust ecosystem aimed at supporting NIT students from enrolment through to successful career placement.
